hello. Finally, this place has some life breathed into it. I guess I can understand the whole disappointment when no one blogs thing because it happens to me too. Hm. I think I'm the most frequent blogger. Blogger of proper stuff, to be exact. So yes, yiiwen, you aren't the only soul out there who feels like that.

I seriously hope maryann was not being serious when she said pw=life. Theres definitely more to life than just pw. The day when life really revolves entirely around such a thing as pw will be a sad one indeed. And I will be very happy indeed to get pw out of the way. Its such a pain, honestly.

Anyway, I used to have penpals when I was in Primary school. Except my penpals were people I actually knew. Like my P3 classmates. So it isn't really counted, is it?
I agree with the whole mysterious presence part. But now, the novelty of having a penpal has sort of worn off already, hasn't it? I mean, with the emergence of internet chat and all. Habbohotel is a great place to meet people from different countries (provided they actually want to hold a conversation with you). I've tried it and got to talk to a great many different people from around and yea, get different views on stuff.
I think having a penpal should be done in the "old-fashioned way" -- letter writing. Not through emails and all. The excitment of opening your letter-box and discovering a letter for you with different stamps and post-marks and all. Letter writing is more sincere, I guess. At least to me.

Hm. We should have the kuishin bo outing that we've all been saying we want. Like sometime when everyone's free. Blog owners and frequent taggers invited. Sometime in December? After pw, lydia's attachment, my competition; before yiiwen's holiday, maryann's JLPT. Any takers?

Our blog is just over its 9 month mark. Hopefully, we'd be able to continue filling it with stuff -- nonsensical, proper and all.
