My job's ending soon and strangely I do feel a little weird about leaving, despite how I am bored by it's monotony and rattled by the fact I'm not really learning anything. (shrugs)
French Class yesterday was definitely illuminating, and I'm not talking about the language alone. Like how I found out French people actually LIKE Singlish over proper English. That aside, my classmates are interesting -- we've a mix of nationalities. There this Japanese Professor (who incidentally looks like the Korean doctor in Grey's Anatomy) and this Burmese Engineer. And oh, I happen to be the youngest there because the rest are working class adults.
Anyway, I enjoyed reading today's columns in Lifestyle, especially the main one, about life. I found it very useful advice, at this point when we're all trying to make our career decisions and I (at least) am afraid of picking the wrong path. Life's full of what ifs. I guess shes right -- you need to follow a calling, if not a job will always be a job and nothing more.
Other than that, I look forward to "meetings" with old friends, even when we're all old and wrinkled, and hopefully not forgetful enough to forget about our friendship. (:
