It's been too quiet around here lately and I've been one of the culprits -- I haven't posted in ages.

I wonder what everyone's been up to. The silence's been defeaning. It's always so easy to make excuses for not catching up while the gap between just gets wider and wider and it gets to the point when you realise you don't have anything to say to each other anymore because there isn't a gap anymore -- there's a valley between.


I remember being ever so naive and scribbling "friends forever" in autograph books back in primary school and really believing in it. I remember writing "keep in touch" in autograph books (fewer now) in secondary school, determined to make sure I keep my secondary school friends, unlike my primary school friends. And finally, I remember agreeing to "let's meet up for coffee sometime" in JC but 6 months down, that hasn't exactly held either.
So much for forever.


Each time I think about the future I wonder if friends will keep changing. That's silly of me isn't it? Afterall, some of my closest friends I've ever had have proved that length of acquaintance has no bearing on the strength of the bond. Yes?


Anyhow, slug and I want to go kite-flying. Anyone game for it?
